Okay for an early song

This wasn't really an ambient song; more like trance or techno. I didn't like the drums at the beginning since they take such little time to loop and get old fast. The melody was pretty good but it was also short and got old fast, and it didn't really build up to anything. Overall, It wasn't very good, but most of the flaws could be fixed with some work.

Liked it, mostly

The first part of the song was basically the original, but in MIDI, so I didn't particularly like that. Once the trancey part kicked in, though, I loved it.

Close to perfection

This song is pure awesomeness! I do have a couple of issues with it though. First, at least on my computer, this song has a little bit of distortion. Secondly, the drums at around 2 minutes in are completely lacking bass.

It's Scottish Snare, so I don't see much a need for b.. b.. ba.. bass.

Excellent!

All the other MGS rmxes sound like un-edited midis. It reminds me sort of the second part of Hell March 1.

meta-stability?

Hardly anyone remembers Marathon anymore. Even fewer numbers still play it and write songs about it. Of the ones that do, though, you are pretty good.

Familiar

It sounds familiar somehow.

Well... I've gathered inspiration from everywhere :)

You have a gift

Sounds epic, man. I don't think it would necessarily fit in a movie or videogame battle since it seems a little too slow for that, but still very epic.
